Leve brudparet!
Hir oes a hapysrwydd i'r dydfodol i'r newydd briodi!

Long live the newly-weds!

I have been a bit busy lately, among other things, with the preparations for my daughter Estella's wedding to her partner Mark. The wedding took place in Wales  on 4 July, in a wonderful rural setting. Nearly everything, from the bride's dress to the dishes and cakes served, had been made by friends and family.
The mother of the bride made the box for the cards, taking her inspiration from her teacher Lea Stansal. Another contribution were the embroidered work bags for the bride and groom, who together with their friends found a moment to get on with their knitting projects! The bride also had a handbag embroidered in wool, as typical for her native region of Scania in Sweden (photo later).
The bunting deserves a special mention, as it was made from patchwork fabrics over several weekends by my dear embroidering friends, known as "the Portuguese aunties"!
